Sunninghill, Ascot, Berkshire
Sunninghill is a small, very green, village. It has a small high street, consisting of several bespoke shops and a costcutter for convenience.
Transport Connections
Train: Ascot Mainline is approx. 10 minute walk and Sunningdale train station is also approx. 10 minute drive away. These are both on the waterloo train line, with excellent connections to London, Guildford and Reading.
Bus: Buses run regularly from the top of St. Mary's Hill in Sunninghill Village (2 minute walk) and also at the bottom of the hill (another 2 minute walk!). The latter runs all the way to Windsor.
Plane: London Heathrow Airport is approx. 20 minute drive away by car and London Gatwick Airport is approx. 45 mins drive away. It can be arranged for you to leave your car in our driveway whilst away if you would like to go by taxi.
Within the village there are three Public Houses each offering good food at very reasonable prices. There are also many takeaways, including Nanu's who will deliver free of charge. Domino's Pizza and Pizza Express in Sunningdale will also deliver. There are, however, many more restaurants and good food 'Pubs' in the local vicinity to be explored if self catering needs to take a break!
